AI-Native Engineering Transformation
As official AI champion for a 600-engineer business unit at Dell, drove agentic AI from coding assistants to production adoption: worked with IT to fine-tune code models to a million-line codebase, evaluated per-team code-generation effectiveness, and migrated the toolchain as model quality improved, yielding 3x productivity and 30% higher engagement. Built on the org's AI harness and LLM architecture documentation to create knowledge bundles for grounded, non-hallucinating answers.
User Experience & Interface for Enterprise Products
Led the engineering side of UX/UI for four version-1 enterprise products across HPE and Dell: simplifying underlying complexity, one design system across the portfolio, and API-first compliance (OpenAPI, Redfish). At Dell, responsible for system management of a distributed Kubernetes-based data protection product, and used AI to pull GUI delivery in by 6 months, enabling early customer demos and timely product decisions.
Organizational Scaling & Culture
Built and scaled engineering teams in India with complete ownership of manageability software for enterprise products; grew the site to 100 engineers. Graduated from Dell's flagship LEAD program. Earned top-decile team engagement for 5 consecutive years.
Agile Transformation
Led Dell's Agile transformation three times: waterfall to Agile Scrum (VersionOne, SAFe), then Scaled Scrum with Scrum@Scale, and then across the Infrastructure Solutions Group. Wrote the tutorial decks, certified 100% of employees and leaders in Scrum, and ran portfolio-level executive Scrum events. Recognized with the Senior Vice President's Game Changer award.
Storage, Data Protection & Enterprise Systems
Led engineering for management and supportability software across enterprise data-protection appliances and distributed storage systems. Experience spans file, block, and object storage, storage tiers, backup and recovery, appliance serviceability, security, REST APIs, GUI, microservices, and observability.
Knowledge-First Agentic AI — Public Research
The framework behind the knowledge-bundle and grounding work is developed in the open at knowledgesidekick.org — a free-to-read research site: position pieces on why knowledge fails first in agentic systems, a standards index (RDF, OWL, SKOS, JSON-LD, PROV-O) with status stated plainly, and adoption practice: maturity evaluation, knowledge audits, lifecycle.
